About the Club

A welcoming place to share great whisky.

Whether you're new to whisky or have been drinking it for years, you're welcome here. Since 2018, the London Whisky Club has been building a warm, generous community around a shared love of this spirit. We're member-led, non-profit and open to all.

Our tastings are informal and social. Some are member-led - where members contribute a bottle on a theme - others are hosted by distilleries and independent bottlers we love. No knowledge is assumed and nobody is here to tell you what notes you should taste.

There's something for everyone in whisky and half the fun is disagreeing. Come join us and find out!

Events

Last Thursday. Every month.

We meet on the last Thursday of every month in central London. Sometimes our tastings are 'member-led' (we pick a theme, generous members contribute bottles and usually get their ticket free), for others we invite distilleries and bottlers we really rate.

Afters
We're famous for our 'Afters'. After the main tasting, people often stay and share a few drams from a bottle they've been enjoying. There's never any obligation and nothing fancy is required – rare and sought-after whiskies appear alongside curios and everyday favourites.

Between events the conversation keeps flowing in our WhatsApp groups of over 200 members, with recommendations, reviews and occasional nonsense.
